El Gordito Feliz

New owners, new name, newly redecorated, same awesome tastes and service. Food was great, super fast service, made an item not on the menu to meet some dietary needs. Woohoo!! I was so sad to see the old place close, but am super happy to see the new place thriving!

The food was tasty! Birria tacos were super flavorful and cheesy great place for a bite to eat. Decent pricing. Parking is street parking. There are nearby stores. Lot of seating available. The server was nice.

If you want tasty, authentic Mexican food-THIS IS THE PLACE !!!! We had KETO (made with cheese for taco shell) tacos - the flavor was so vibrant and woke your senses- don’t even get me started on their homemade salsa and green, avocado and hot sauces.... AND my son had the birria tacos - it was so tasty and the cheese was so gooey and delicious- then he even dipped his chips into the consume - DEFINITELY RECOMMENDING AND COMING BACK A MILLION TIMES

The Best Mexican food in the area ! Can’t believe how much flavor was in these tacos! This is a must stop for any one who wants authentic tacos and other Mexican food. The staff was really friendly and outgoing. I will return to this spot!

Best Mexican food in downtown Newberg. I have lunch here once or twice a week. The Gordito burrito and nachos are huge and delicious!

Been dying to try this place since it popped up and finally made it. The enchi taco was so so delicious and the taco salad was massive! The shredded pork on the salad was also incredibly good. The staff was friendly and the place was clean and bright. Definitely plan to go back and recommend to anyone and everyone.

I was craving street tacos and I was not disappointed!! I ordered a 6 pack, can can get more than one meat, did chicken and pork. Excellent flavors and the salsa Verde was delicious on the tacos. Also ordered a taco salad and man it was huge! Also good flavor and very tasty! Lots of indoor seating with big comfy booths. They even have outdoor seating out back! Friendly staff and we will absolutely be back to try more of the menu.

The food was absolutely delicious! The Quesabirria Fries were fantastic! French fries topped with cheese, birria, onion and cilantro, it comes with a side of consome, lime, and salsa. I also had the Horchata, that was really good. My friend had the Gordito Taco Salad and an order of nachos with salsa. The salsa that came was the nachos was fresh and delicious. When they served us our food, they brought three different salsas. The first was jalapeno (I think) green salsa which was slightly spicy, the second was an avocado based salsa that was very mild, and a habanero salsa that is very spicy hot, which I really liked and was really good. The food is served hot and fresh. The service was quick and server was polite and friendly. The place is clean and so are the bathrooms. They also have a water dispenser with cups, containers to take your leftovers home, and little containers for salsa. The place is pretty big and there is plenty of seating. The parking is on the street. I highly recommend this place.
